Arizona – here we come!

 The first intense but sunny days are behind us.
On Monday, after completing the “formalities” – internet matching and arming of bicycles, repacking of baggage – around 14pm at Santa Monica beach the relay rod was handed over. We left sad Adam and Asia and went our way. Due to the late departure time, we only made 50 km to Long Beach. A good warm-up in the California sun! 💪
The next morning, we left Long Beach and traveled 100 km along the coast of the Ocean. 🏖 We had wind once in the back, once in the face, but luckily we got to San Clemente. Unfortunately, planned accommodation on the beach was impossible due to too strong wind and meteo warnings. There is no harm – we found an accommodation in the Surf Hostel 🏄‍♂.
