The beginning of the road to Whitehorse is getting closer!

Another day is behind us.
On Saturday we started with breakfast at Farmer’s Market. This is a local market that takes place once a week. Vendors from the North of Alaska meet there. We drove to the place where we tasted a local snack – elk dog which is a hot dog with a moose. 🌭 🌭 Who would have thought that in such weather residents of Fairbanks would treat us with ice tea;)
After breakfast, we went to the University of Alaska Museum of the North. Interesting exhibitions brought us closer to the lives of Innits and other indigenous people in Alaska.
Then we went to see the local backwaters and birds at Creamer’s Field.
We ended the day with the package tracking, which turned out to be in Fairbanks this afternoon! For pickup most probably on Sunday evening! 📦 📦 📦
