To Yakutsk across the river Lena!

The beginning of June is the joint action # stage14 and # stage15.
Stage 14 arrived in Yakutsk. Thanks to the crossing from Niżni Biesciach across the river Lena! Ferry crossing takes about 45 minutes and is free for cyclists. It was a well-deserved reward after a comfortable but tiring last 100-kilometer section of the stage. The weather was also favorable – the sun and light wind in the back. Just before the crossing, the stage of Krzysztof Suchowierski decided to go camping in Marabut tents. Cyclists quickly forgot about nocturnal mosquitoes, while entering the center of Yakutsk. They encountered a group of 30 cyclists, who were driving out of town to clean the forest. The meeting turned into cooperation 🙂 Then Stage 14. returned to the center to meet with stage 15 and local television, which was invited by the journalist Władysław from the sports department. Relay was handed over. In the evening, after moments of fame and joy of the successful arrival at the finish line, reported by Yakutsk News, both stages took care of the bicycle repairs and preparation of equipment for the further route. On Monday, June 4th, the 15th stage led by Monia Szen began the crossing of the last Russian section of our relay race.
